ARCHITECTURE REGISTER / revision 2149.3
Core families
Families share a dispatch grammar and differ in core count, clock ceiling and idle envelope. The figures are integration worksheet parameters for the specified model.

| Family | Cores | Clock ceiling / GHz | Idle / MW | Guard interface |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S4 | 4 | 1.2 | 0.000004 | interface reserved |
| S8 | 8 | 1.6 | 0.000006 | guardian-ready interface |
| S16 | 16 | 1.2 | 0.000010 | guardian-ready interface |
S4 — small active set
Four independent accumulators target intermittent inspection workloads. An integrator can reserve the guard interface without installing a service. Its 1.2 GHz ceiling assumes the declared cooling envelope.
S8 — balanced dispatch
Eight cores pair an event queue with four merge barriers. Guardian-ready describes a typed attachment interface for SIKeeper integration; it does not assert that a guardian is installed or that a certificate has been issued.
S16 — wider reduction
Sixteen cores favour independent reductions. Its lower clock ceiling trades latency for a wider active set. A workload with serial dependencies should not inherit the parallel throughput claim.
