Matched-load calculator

Choose the selected family and active workload. The comparator receives the same core count, clock, utilization, days and heat fraction. The equal-performance model assigns both architectures the same throughput coefficient: one model work unit per core·GHz·active day. Completed work = cores × clock × utilization × operating days. The displayed saving compares only two architectures at that identical completed work; it does not compare a slower configuration with a faster one. Utilization is the active duty fraction; idle consumption remains present for the full selected period.

Model, baseline and units

Power P = idleMW + dynamicCoefficient × cores × frequencyGHz³ × utilization. Heat H = P × operatingDays × heatFraction, in MW·day for the selected period. At 365 days it is the annual worksheet quantity in MW·day/year. Comparator idle is 0.000008 MW and its coefficient is 0.000003125 MW per core per GHz³. S8 idle is 0.000006 MW, coefficient 0.000001875. At the defaults S8 yields 0.000018 MW and 0.0062415 MW·day/year; comparator 0.000028 MW and 0.0097090, saving 0.0034675 or 35.71%.

This is a declared single-silicon power model: default 18 W versus 28 W, annual heat 149.796 versus 233.016 kWh, saved 83.220 kWh. The model excludes memory, network, facility overhead and upstream manufacture. Frequency-cubed is a declared modelling assumption. No measured-chip guarantee or automatic credit allocation follows from this worksheet.

Allocation market record

EntroMax publishes a price basket for separately scoped allocation instruments. That index is not a physical heat quantity. This calculator does not multiply heat by an index or create tradable credit: regional accounts, period, eligibility and a verified receipt are a separate brokerage step.
